Meet the Doctor

From the serene, relaxing, and luxurious setting of her dental office in Manasquan, NJ, Dr. Barba and her exceptional team have served the local Jersey Shore community since 2007. Gleaning from her experience over more than three decades in practices in California, New York and New Jersey, she and her team created an unsurpassed dental spa experience with state-of-the-art technology and care that not only soothes and inspires, but sets the foundation for optimal overall health and wellness. Dr. Barba says helping her patients love their smiles gives her an “indescribable feeling of joy and happiness.”

A southern California native, Dr. Barba earned a Bachelor of Science degree in psychobiology and her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of California at Los Angeles. She is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the Jersey Shore University Medical Center Continuing Education Study Club, the Gordon Christensen International Study Club, the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Academy of Clear Aligners, and the New Jersey Dental Association. The continual journey of learning remains important to Dr. Barba’s goal of being recognized as one of the best cosmetic dentists in New Jersey. She has expanded her resume to include certification in facial rejuvenation procedures such as BOTOX™ Cosmetic, Juvéderm™ dermal fillers and KYBELLA™ treatment for double chins. As a strong believer in feeling good about yourself both inside and out, she is continually elevating her skills. Most recently, Dr. Valerie Barba completed a MasterClass on jawline reconstruction.

Married for 36 years and blessed with four children and two grandchildren, Dr. Barba enjoys family life and prioritizes wellness in mind, body, and spirit. You will often find her running on the Spring Lake, NJ boardwalk or enjoying the ocean air by Manasquan Beach. Her music ministry at St. Peter’s Church in Point Pleasant Beach, NJ as a Leader of Song and choir member is also especially fulfilling.
